The Three Musketeers Synopsis
“Fight on every possible occasion.” That is the advice D’Artaganan’s father gives him as he embarks on his journey to Paris to fulfill his dream of becoming one of the King’s Musketeers. D’Artagnan is young, brave, and good with a sword, like his father. But, Paris has changed since his father’s days.

King Louis’ authority appears usurped by the powerful Cardinal Richelieu. The Cardinal’s guards are continually brawling with the Musketeers. Upon his arrival D’Artagnan soon finds himself challenged to a duel, three actually, against Athos, Porthos, and Aramis, three of the King’s Musketeers - known as the three inseparables.

However just before D’Artagnan is about to fight Athos several Cardinal guards show up to arrest the three friends. Outnumbered, Athos, Porthos, and Aramis decide it is better to die than appear in disgrace before their commander.

Although not a Musketeer himself, D’Artagnan assists them and together they defeat the Cardinal guards and in that moment a bond of friendship is formed between the four. What follows is a swashbuckling adventure filled with love, betrayal, intrigue and revenge.
